Tasks and responsiblities
Content and digital communications
- Manage our content strategy, planning, and production to ensure a steady stream of updates that promote Regenagri’s mission, vision, and impact to both internal and external audiences.
- Develop, write, and edit engaging content and campaigns for various channels, including web pages, emails, and social media posts, ensuring consistency in messaging and alignment with organisational goals.
- Develop and refine key messages to simplify complex ideas about regenerative agriculture into compelling narratives.
- Act as the primary content administrator for the organisation’s website, ensuring all online content is accurate and up to date.
- Manage Regenagri’s LinkedIn and Instagram channels, including monitoring messages and replying to comments.
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on the effectiveness of communication activities, continuously identifying opportunities for improvement.
Internal communications and training
- Develop and deliver clear and consistent internal communications across the organisation to ensure employee engagement and alignment.
- Develop and support delivery of communications training and workshops to internal teams.
Media, reputation, and issues management
- Support Regenagri’s press/media outreach, including drafting press releases, handling media enquiries, and pitching stories to achieve positive coverage.
- Proactively monitor media and social channels for emerging issues and reputational risks, implementing crisis communication plans as necessary to protect the organisation’s reputation.
Stakeholder engagement
- Represent Regenagri at meetings and conferences, building the brand’s reputation and fostering relationships with potential collaborators.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure the seamless integration of partnership activities and communications with Regenagri’s overall strategy and objectives.
Skills and experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in communications, with a proven track record of driving successful multi-channel communication initiatives and campaigns, specifically within purpose-driven, sustainability-focused organisations.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to write, edit, and simplify complex, impactful work into clear messaging.
- Strong strategic planning skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage timelines, and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven experience in crisis communication and issues management to protect and manage corporate reputation.
- Knowledge of regenerative agriculture principles, sustainability practices, and global environmental issues is highly preferred.
