As businesses and governments ramp up their climate commitments, carbon standards must do more than simply quantify reductions – they must also follow best practice in alignment with evolving international regulations.

Regenagri’s Carbon Insetting Standard has been developed with this in mind. From the Paris Agreement and the GHG Protocol to SBTi FLAG and ISO standards, the framework has been designed to support robust, transparent and credible carbon accounting.

When your organisation joins Regenagri’s Carbon Insetting Programme, you can rest assured that your sustainability efforts remain aligned with the evolving regulatory landscape.

Supporting Article 6 of the Paris Agreement

Designed to comply with the requirements of Article 6 of the Paris Agreement, Regenagri’s Carbon Insetting Standard includes safeguards for additionality, transparency, independent verification, permanence, and the prevention of double counting – ensuring it explicitly targets the Article 6 integrity requirements to deliver genuine climate benefits.

Where authorised by a host country and integrated into national reporting systems, Regenagri insetting units can also be used to support national climate targets.

Aligned with global carbon accounting

The Standard follows the latest guidance from the GHG Protocol Land Sector and Removals Standard (LSRS), supporting consistent accounting for emissions reductions and removals, land-use change, and Scope 3 emissions within agricultural supply chains.

It also aligns with recognised frameworks including the IPCC and ISO 14064, and is regularly reviewed to keep pace as guidance evolves.

Helping companies meet SBTi FLAG requirements

Regenagri’s Insetting Standard supports organisations with Forest, Land and Agriculture (FLAG) targets under Version 1.2 (March 2026) by enabling verified emissions reductions within their own supply chains. With annual third-party verification, digital monitoring and robust land-use safeguards, it helps companies turn climate commitments into measurable results.
