Our carbon insetting programme builds on Regenagri’s globally recognised certification, offering farmers an integrated solution for reaping the rewards of impact from regenerative farming.

Carbon insetting units, representing a reduction in carbon footprint, offer producers an additional financial reward in return for improvements made through regenerative farming, as well as benefitting the planet.

At the same time, businesses who purchase carbon insetting units from producers within their supply chain reduce their Scope 3 emissions.

How it works:

• Participating farms generate carbon insetting units by reducing the carbon footprint of their operations and products while implementing the Regenagri programme.
• The volume of carbon insetting units that a farm has generated is confirmed through an annual third-party verification of GHG emissions and carbon reduction data.
• Supply chain organisations then purchase these units to offset their Scope 3 emissions, financially rewarding farmers for futureproofing their production systems in the process.
• Ownership and transactions of carbon insetting units are registered on the Regenagri insetting registry.
