Es unterst\u00fctzt landwirtschaftliche Betriebe und Organisationen bei der Umstellung auf eine ganzheitliche Landwirtschaft, bei der Verbesserung der Bodengesundheit, der F\u00f6rderung der Artenvielfalt, der Verringerung der Treibhausgasemissionen und der Bindung von CO2. regenagri bietet den Landwirten auch Wege zu zus\u00e4tzlichen Mitteln \u00fcber die M\u00e4rkte f\u00fcr Emissionsgutschriften und Umweltsubventionen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Governance Structure<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Regenagri C.i.C. is registered in the U.K. as a Community Interest Company (C.i.C.). Regenagri opted for the C.i.C. status because it provides a unique legal structure that is specifically designed to benefit the community or pursue social objectives rather than maximising profits for shareholders. By statutes, Regenagri C.i.C. is required to engage with the local community and provide transparent reporting on its impact. This ensures that Regenagri C.i.C. remains accountable to its stakeholders, including beneficiaries, funders, and the wider community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Regenagri C.i.C. has two shareholders, Solidaridad Network Asia Limited and the International Cooperative Alliance. Solidaridad Foundation is an internation civil society organisation working in over 40 countries over five continents and with 55 years of experience in developing solutions to make farms and farms communities more resilient. The International Cooperative Alliance represents about one billion cooperative members, many of whom are active in the agricultural sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is no direct or indirect (through affiliates or subsidiaries) interest by third-party certification bodies, in Regenagri C.i.C. or in its shareholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Regenagri C.i.C. has a two-tiered structure:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Board of Directors<\/strong>: Regenagri C.i.C.\u2019s Board of Directors is responsible for establishing and guiding the organisation’s long-term strategic vision, priorities, and policies. They also oversee the financial aspects of the organisation. The Board of Directors are aimed to represent a diverse group of professionals from the global North and South. The board of directors is composed of the CEO and 1 or 2 directors appointed by each shareholder.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    1. Secretariat: <\/strong>The Secretariat is headed by the CEO of Regenagri C.i.C. The primary role of the Secretariat is to facilitate and oversee the implementation of Regenagri C.i.C.\u2019s strategies, programs, and standards. This involves working closely with stakeholders across different agricultural supply chains, including farmers, manufacturers, retailers, and civil society organisations. The Secretariat is responsible for developing and continuously improving the regenagri standard, criteria, and guidelines. We work collaboratively with experts, stakeholders, and partners to ensure the standards reflect best practices and address key sustainability challenges in regenerative agriculture<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
