Franco Constantini
Managing Director
Franco joined Control Union (UK) in 2016 as Managing Director, and lead the launch of regenagri in 2020.
He has worked for about 15 years in the Testing, Inspections and Certifications sector, across a range of industries including agri-food, consumer, industrial.
Before then he carried out research work in Aeronautics and Aerospace.
Franco holds a Master of Business Administration MBA, a post-grad Research Master (M.Res) in Fluid Dynamics and a Master of Engineering (M.Eng) in Mechanical Engineering. -
Loek Verwijst
Deputy Director - Carbon verification and offsetting
Loek joined Control Union in 2013 and worked mainly on sustainability programs in agriculture, biofuels and biomass. Over the years he build experience in greenhouse gas emission verifications for various emission reduction and carbon offsetting programs. He joined the regenagri team in September 2020 and is particularly involved in the carbon reduction and offsetting verification that regenagri offers.
Loek has a BSc in organic agriculture and an MSc in management of innovations in supply chains from Wageningen University, the Netherlands. -
Rose Riley
Sales and Marketing Manager
Rose joined the team in early 2021 as sales and marketing manager to help raise awareness of the fantastic work being done by the UK team to help businesses achieve their environmental sustainability goals. She brings 15 years’ experience in advertising, media, digital and consultancy across a wide range of sectors including not-for-profit, retail, education, healthcare and banking.
She has an MAHons in International Relations from the University of St Andrews. -
Filippo Guerrini
Regenerative agronomic advisor
Filippo joined regenagri at the beginning of 2021 as scientific advisor. His work focusses on the link between regenerative agriculture and quantitative gains of carbon sequestration, restoration of biodiversity and other ecosystem services.
Filippo holds a BSc in Agriculture from the University of Bologna (IT) and a MSc on Rural Development from Agrocampus Ouest (FR) with a thesis on “Transition to Regenerative Agriculture : Carbon sequestration potential and implementation of Payment for Ecosystem Services” -
Hans Strachwitz
Communications Advisor - DACH countries
Hans-Heinrich joined the regenagri team in August 2021 as Team Member and Communications Advisor for the DACH countries (Germany, Austria and Switzerland). He also works as an auditor in the areas of organic agriculture, sustainability, biomass and good agricultural practices (GAP). With a land experience in active farming as a contractor and farm manager in Namibia, he strengthens the team with his knowledge in these areas.
Hans-Heinrich holds a BSc in Agricultural Science from the University of Bernburg, Germany.

Daniel Bertani Lopes da Costa
Engagement Manager
Daniel has a farming background in Brazil and 13 years of experience in the agribusiness sector. With experience ranging from research, logistics and trading for agricultural commodities such as cotton, soy, corn, coffee and orange juice to management and implementation of regenerative agriculture projects in Latin America.
Daniel holds a Master in Agribusiness from University of Queensland in Australia and a Bachelor degree in Communication from Unicesumar in Brazil. -
Annie Marschalek
Agriculture Carbon Schemes Developer
Annie holds a BSc in Geography and Environmental Management from Harper Adams University. She grew up on a small beef farm in Suffolk which gave wide ranging practical farm knowledge. She has previous experience in carbon footprinting farms of all operation types with specific work done on improving and creating the models and tools used to do this. More recently she worked on exploring how to improve the sustainability of farming practices specifically within a fresh produce company.
